"I have loved to create things since the beginning of my memory. When I was old enough to sit in a chair and reach the sewing machine pedal, my grandmother was teaching me how to sew, and when I was a bit older my father taught me the fundamentals of stained glass. I started seeking out extra-curricular art classes when I was about ten years old. I have, at different times, dabbled in painting, sculpting, ceramics, sewing, stained glass, photography, landscape architecture, tattooing, blacksmithery, and metal fabrication before finding my true artistic calling in lampworking glass. I am fascinated by the fact that glass is always in a liquid state....even when it is cold and hard it is still truly a liquid and always in a state of flow."
